5Fantastic!
By Ewp401
I was skeptical of purchasing this item, since though Fisher-Price is a great brand, there haven't been the biggest reviews on some of the other "Kid Tough" items. But I am SO GLAD I did!

This was purchased as a birthday present for my 3 year old. He loves music, and I had contemplated buying him an Ipod Touch for his birthday for the music and games, but rather purchased this and Leapster Explorer.

It holds a good amount of music, around 50-60 songs, depending on the length. The sound is piercing but not too loud. The microphone is cute and my son loves to sing along with his music.

It is VERY durable, and I don't worry in regards to my son playing with it, even though drops are inevitable.

The setup is very simple, you download software from fisher price and then it has a very simple uploader for your songs.

Overall, I think this is a outstanding choice for any child who loves music and has their bestloved songs. The battery power leaves a bit to be desired, so I would invest in rechargeable batteries.

4Not compatible with Macs
By coco
We purchased two of these for our children for Christmas and I expended 2 hours attempting to upload music onto it from my Mac. I could see that the songs were on there when I viewed them on the screen, nonetheless when I would push play it never would play and it quickly shuffled through each song ending back at number one. I thought it was broken so I called Fisher Price. I found that they are having an engineer problem with Macs. I re-did everything on my husbands PC and it worked perfectly. I was so relieved and SO excessively affected emotionally to give it to them!

5Terrific
By Colette T. Balder
I purchased this radio for my 2 year old grandson who LOVES music and LOVES buttons! Now rather of pushing the buttons on grandma's radio he has his own. The sound is outstanding and it is very lasting -- which is a requirement for 2 year olds! Every time he comes to grandma's house the basi thing he looks for is his radio. He dances and jumps and claps and has the best time. This is a great toy. Grandpa is very computer savvy and uploaded four whole CD's of kid's music. We like it so much we are buying a second one so he may have one at home, too.
