1Excess noise overpowering
By J. Stone
This CD player made a uninterrupted humming noise when plugged in. The noise was piercing sufficient that you could also listen it over the music being played. I would not commend this product.

1You get what you pay for
By R. Harmon
I thought buying a cheap mp3 playing cd player would be gorgeous safe, since I wasn't looking for anything to listen to my high end stuff. Well 25 bucks sounded too good to be true. First thing I noticed was an unGodly hum that has no rhyme or reason. I never heard the name Coby before and hope to never listen it is name or it is hum again. (you get what you pay for)

4Good CD-MP3 Player for the Price Espec. With Amazon's Free Postage
By Paul Dolinsky
The negatives are that the sound is not great- sounds like an old fashioned transistor radio. The tiny AM-FM sliderule radio does manage to pull in the more inviolable stations and likewise has an FM-Stereo control. The summations are that unit plays CD's and MP3's (that I copied on to CD-RW's) very well, including MP3's within folders. I've read complaints when it comes to much more highpriced units that have disturb playing the MP3's. The radio is very handsome too, nicer than the picture shows. Controls are well placed and the antenna doesn't get in the way of the handle. Very good buy for the cash ($26 and free postage at the present (2-06))
