Just what I was looking for By Steven Whatley Sometimes I like to listen to an audiobook in a quiet place but I don't feel like wearing earphones so I searched for a mini speaker system. Hence, I found this product and purchased it. Just got it today. It is just what I was looking for. The volume is earsplitting sufficient for a somewhat quiet, private place to listen. The construction seems solid. The sound quality is so-so yet I may still take delight in listening to music through it if I desire to. It in truth seems a little bit thick and heavy equated to my iPod Classic but it will do it is occupation nicely.

Great Deal By Dianne S. Ross I purchased this for $5 at Walgreens. It runs on one double A battery, and is very portable. Truly the sound wuality isnt that great, but it is in truth worth the money. It is regarding 3in long, and 1 inch wide, and may fit into any pocket. I am in general not pleased with coby products, but i would recomend this, becuase it is well worth the seven bucks.

Poor sound quality By Bobby (in Maryland) Even brand new with a fresh battery, this device has a very weak, tinny sound -- fundamentally useless to me even to listen to voice-only podcasts.
